I am a hopeless romantic and eternal optimist. I must admit that more than one tear has fallen at a sad moment in the darkness of a theater. And I've had some real laughs when to often my imperfections come to light. And then many cute jokes and stories help shorten each day.
I have a solid footing that allows compassion combined with strength. When you need a hand up, or just a little encouragement, I'll be there. When it is rough, and the light at the end of the tunnel is a train, I won't run from your side, I'll be there in front to protect and serve.
You can count on me to be there when I'm needed, and on the sidelines cheering you on when I'm not. I will encourage, but not nag, love you, but not demand your love. I will always love you for who you are, and not what you have or can do for me. It is my job to love you, and God's job to help you be good and to keep you safe. I will trust you always, and never violate your trust.
I'm an employer that provides raises without asking. That implements health plans and pays you when you're sick or just need the day off. When a mistake is made, rather than criticize and scold, I provide solutions to prevent future mistakes (What can we do so that this doesn't happening again?).
I'm the forgiving driver who doesn't get even when you cut me off, and I'm always finding myself getting upset if someone else gives you a break before I get a chance to!
