About Me:
Like most people here, I never imagined I would try online personals, unless my social life shrivelled up to a petrified acorn. Well, it's beginning to look pretty shrivelled up by now. Ok, you can stop scrunching up your face, I'm not that pathetic. It's just that between convincing moronic friends not to set me up on any more horrific blind dates, and spending long frosty evenings watching some awful program on the mating habits of the Amazonian sloth, I've decided to run with the fold and try this adventure instead. Henceforth, I'm officially a sheep grazing with the online flock, seeking greener pastures with the rest of the wooly gang. Baaaa.
To be honest, I'm not exactly the hunchback of Notre Dame either. I'm about 5'10", slim and actually quite attractive in a "if I do say so myself cos nobody else would kinda way". And no, I do not send women and children shrieking with fright.
Ok, a little more details: I don't smoke nor drink, I do however enjoy cooking (when I'm not setting myself on fire), long pleasant walks, love reading (anything from Tolkein, Tom Merton to John Steinbeck and the ever delightful Gary Larson), enjoy movies, Saturday morning cartoons, quiet sidewalk cafes, travelling (from quaint european towns to cosy rustic resorts), am passionate about philosophy and archaeology, enjoy the occasional fencing for sports (when I'm not getting repeatedly stabbed and mistaken for a kebab), love siberian huskies and mostly affectionate people.
What am I looking for? It helps if you're a woman of integrity, not in a self-righteous sort of way of course, but with a heart that's not afraid to love more nobly, and yes, has room for God.
