Greetings,
Do you know yourself and have a spirit for adventure and change? I am a "new age thinker" with a "spiritual" and open mind. I like to think of myself as a caring, thoughtful, sensitive and honest gentleman, who sometimes has the bad habit of putting everything else first. I will tell you the truth, even though it may not be what you want to "hear". I also understand "boundaries" within relationship, and know how to really "listen". Security (to me) is found within the individual and not found within the physical "things" around them. I am NOT a controlling man and seek a woman that is independent and comfortable within her own self. My philosophy of relationship would be that there are two separate individuals with the same or even different goals and desires, but that the relationship itself contains the Love and respect of individuality and should grow and evolve continuously. Gee! Am I getting to crazy here? I guess am simply looking for a friend and "life partner" to share with. I have been self-employed for the last 18 years and history has shown that I have "moved around" allot. I lived in the upstate in the late 80's and returned here about 2 years ago. I would like SC to be my permanent "base". You need to know that my short-term plans are to "semi-retire" in about a year and spend 6 month a year blue water sailing, wherever, and the other 6 months working. (Wana go?) Reason being that my body is still in pretty good shape, and if I wait till I'm 70, it will be too late! I am an adventurer! I spoze I don't take life as serious as most folks do. I enjoy it a lot! I LOVE the water. I live on a houseboat at the moment and spend just about all my weekends out on the lake watching the sun go up and down and getting wet. Most folks around here do not like my choice of music. That would include, Celtic, Scottish, Reggae, Jazz, and stuff like Deep Forrest, Quinn, and Enigma. (see what I mean?).
