Hi -
I just turned 21 and am beginning to realize that I am
alive and have interests that I have not been
indulging. I don't normally post personal ads, but I
thought it is almost 1 am and I am still awake and
should do something to push myself in the general
direction of dating! I have never really been a part
of the dating scene, and have stuck with people that I
know...but as I get older I find that even the people
I know, I don't really know and don't really want to
know anymore. I am an Idealist and try to see the best
in every situation, which sometimes leads me to the
insecure and arrogant men that I tend to attract. I am
looking for someone who is knowledgeable about the
area that he lives in, likes to dance, go out on the
town, have fun, is not interested in a purely physical
relationship, is passionate about something (i.e. the
theater, abstract art, etc.), is DRIVEN, confident but
not arrogant, comfortable with who they are, knows
what they want, is sensitive, a listener not given to
giving TOO much advice, is not afraid of parents, has
a wonderful sense of humor, is creative, likes to
read, go to museums, movies, art festivals, has the
soul of a poet and the fire of a performer, ...is this
becoming too IDEALISTIC?! Prove me wrong :-)
