I am a lively,intelligent wanna-be writer, with interesting bacground. I'm the kind of person who runs to the dictionary to lesrn new words, the Atlas to check on places mentioned. Having lived "overseas"
(from my birthland) since 1960, I make "home" wherever my heart tells me. Have a romantic streak that won't quit, but frankly don't see myself plunging into an LTR with a stranger! In other words, I want a solid friendship to develop first.
Animal lover..I feed strays.. Definiitely prefer Rachmaninov over almost any other composer..but will take Chopin, and the 3 B's ( Beethoven, Brahms and Bach).. Nuts about Pavarotti!!!. Read voraciously. Love to travel--and used to!
Handicaps? Never was pretty. Always overweight, but I am finally working seriously on getting down to slim..(by Christmas, I plan to give Christey Brinkley's body a run for its money!!) Just in case I get lucky..and get an answer, please don't have facial hair or a pony tail. When it comes to men I am conservative. I am 5'7" and I like men to be at least 4 inches taller . By the way, I know how to sail..am an abysmal golfer but ready to improve..and I work for a living, tho I am my own boss. Phobia about good grammar/spelling. (Yes, I know that's shallow, but being a linguist, bad spellers, badly spoken people just don't 'cut the mustard" with me.
