About Me:
I'm 5'10", brown hair, grey eyes, and average size.
You wouldn't marry me for my looks.
You might like my intelligence and knowledge; I have a
PhD (philosophy), have been a university professor,
and read an awful lot of books and journals in a wide
range of fields. (I also have to travel too
frequently to attend conferences, give speeches, and

I'm a daily runner, non-smoker, and never was in the
slightest bit interested in drugs. About once a month
I remember that drinking a glass of wine each day is
good for your health; but I usually decide to live on
the wild side and ignore this advice.

winter -- or any other season -- in San Diego).
I haven't been married; and while I've almost always
been happy with my life, I know I could be even
happier if I were a loving husband and great father.

intelligent, well educated, quiet, attractive (tall,
slender?) Catholic who wishes to be in a wonderful
marriage with children. You're emotionally close to
your family, and confident that you could put up with
the idiosyncrasies of a workaholic intellectual --
albeit one who is stubborn, logical, seldom wrong, and
