To all the ships at sea & all the wandering hearts I am on a search for the inevitable peace of mind that comes from finding that all important & seemingly unattainable goal...finding the one who will guide me in life, show me the way, lighten my soul, & teach me about myself. I seek the one who through destiny's vision & miraculous alignment of the stars that lead her to me is destined to be my "True North". She is wandering as I am in a blinding cloud bank of unfound love, yet she shines through the fog as brightly as a lighthouse trying to show me the way to get to her. I need her help, I need her vision. If only she could reach out & take hold of my hand to pull me into the warm arms of her sheltering light. She is beautiful, she is intelligent, she is educated, she is passionate & she is all encompassing. Without her I am unfulfilled & aimless. I am but a tiny vessel on a raging sea with a broken compass. With her, my fears are calmed & my life is safe because I know that with her by my side nothing in this turbulent world can hurt me or divert my soul from its final destiny of living for & breathing with every breath in my body for my "True North". So I place my soul in the form of words written down & destined to be set afloat in this ocean of love. I throw this bottle into the sea & set it afloat hoping that somewhere, on some peaceful beach she will find it & know that I am here. Seeking her. Wanting her to find me. And so I will sit on these rocks & wait. And so, to all the ships at sea & all the wandering hearts I surrender to you my soul & my heart. In a world that I seldom understand, there are winds of destiny that blow when we least expect them. Sometimes they gust with the fury of a hurricane; sometimes they barely fan one's cheek. But the winds cannot be denied, bringing as they often do a future that is impossible to ignore.
