About Me:
i'm a fifty yr old canadian, caucasian, divorced, buddhist, living between bangkok and penang. i'm exploring certain business opportunities here, and have no plans to return to canada in the near future. while i have a few friends in thailand, i know nobody here. my intention, for the moment, is just to seek friendship for my otherwise isolated, [i.e. lonely], visits here. if more develops, that's great, but for now i would just like to meet some friends to share dinner/evenings with. i've been traveling around s.e. asia since the end of september, and don't really like hanging out with fellow foreigners...it's much more interesting to meet the local folks and learn what's going on in their communities/cultures...soooo...if that interests anyone out there, don't be shy to write. re. my interests...hard for me to say! i think the most honest way to put it is that i'm an intellectual sensualist. i love the pleasures of the mind, the body, and the emotions. i love it all!
