About Me:
Hi. I'm a married therapist/author about to teach a
class called, "Let's Get Personal: How to write an
irresistible Personal Ad." In order to do this, I
figured I ought to start collecting some samples to
share with my students. If your ad rocks, I'll
include a copy of it in my class. If my class thinks
it's as good as I do, you'll be the beneficiary.
Also, if in your wanderings you find any great ads,
let me know. If you need help writing an ad, let me
know that, too. The last ad I wrote (for a an old
college roommate) was a big hit. She got more than
200 responses from all over the country. The only
problem was that the guys who answered "her" ad were
more my type than hers. And ultimately, she did have
to write them back--a problem for anyone who has
trouble writing. Ah well. . . so much for my brief
stint as Cyrano.
