About Me:
Well, okay here goes. I guess that a lot of people have insecurities and I'm no different. I have only been in one serious long-term relationship which went on and off for about 4 and 1/2 years. But it ended because I did things to make it end. I couldn't believe that my boyfriend really and truly loved me for me, but he did. Yet, I couldn't see it and so I pushed him away. I see now that it was because of those insecurities that I lost him. But, it's been 3 years and 9 months and a lot has happened to me. I have been working; raising twin sons without their father (which isn't the guy I was talking about before); supporting my brother and grandmother; and I've had other short-term relationships since then but nothing too serious (heart-wise). I still have some intimacy problems, such as holding hands, or even snuggling - but I want to overcome it. I really do. It takes me a while to warm up to someone and become comfortable with them, but once I learn to trust and get to know one person, they tend to become a part of my life always (in it for the long haul). I enjoy the humour of almost any situation, and I tend to go with the flow of things. I enjoy almost any kind of music, love movies, enjoy reading (when I can find the time), walking is great too.
