About Me:
This is the tricky bit, isn't it? How do you sum up something as fluid, changeable and downright complicated as 'your personality' in a few short, snappy sentences? Well, now I'm here I'll give it a try...
A few days ago I was described by a work colleague as 'a bit of a maverick' and, I have to admit, I took that as a compliment. The dictionary definition - 'a person who refuses to conform and acts independently' -suits me pretty well, although I'm certainly no banner-waving, eyebrow-pierced, dog-on-a string crusty. Thought I should make that clear.
Here's a few more words which might apply to yours truly (on a good day): witty, lively, attractive, intelligent and (on a bad day): hmm, maybe we won't go there right now...
Let's concentrate instead on my interests, which include reading (modern novels, biogs, The Guardian), tennis, eating out, travel (abroad only, none too keen on 'the country'), and most things Spanish (a hangover from a two-year sojourn in Madrid).
Should mention, too, something about the type of woman I'd like to meet: vivacious, fun, bright and, yes, 'a bit of a maverick' also. Mediterranean appearance and slim-ness a definite plus on the 'looks' front.
