About Me:
It's quite difficult describing one's self on the spot, but I'll give it a try. First off, I'm a mutt. My father is Persian and my mother is Irish, English and a bit Native American. If there is a mantra that best describes my philosophy on life, it is "go with the flow". I try not to let things sway me in either direction and I try to integrate a laugh or two into any and all situations-admittedly with mixed reviews. As you might have noticed above, I am easily amused: That is not to say I am a moron (although I did play football in college so I guess the moron thing is up for debate) but I can have a good time doing a ton of things. I love sports (both watching and playing) music, film, TV (really only Cheers, Seinfeld,The Soprano's and sports)and writing- I'm certain you haven't noticed any talent but I did spend a few years as a sports writer. Currently, I am VP of Business Development for a money manager in Rochester, NY. I came here to get my MBA at the Simon School of Business and ended up staying. I have a pretty good gig going on up here- golden handcuffs if you are familiar with the obscure reference. All of my activities keep me away from the house 18 or so hours a day. In the winter when not traveling, I bury myself in the gym (what else can one do in Roch? It's either that or lounging on the couch.) Don't get me wrong, the gym to which I refer is really a country club without the golf course and pool: tennis, hoop, weights, jazzercise (not that I have EVER partaken) etc. In the summer, I basically go out every night. I like bars over clubs. There is something about the meat-market culture of the clubs that strikes me wrong. I fancy myself as a bit of a wine connoisseur (I didn't say I could spell) but I have been a vegetarian for 25 years so I'm certainly not a gourmet. That said, I love going out to dinner. Unfortunately, if you don't like Italian, we may be out of luck. I'm sure there's more but I'm sick of typing. Cheers
