About Me:
I am an outdoors more than an indoor person, but don’t
take any of my hobbies to excess. I have ambitions to
visit Nepal, the Maldives, Kilimanjaro, New Zealand
and take a safari through Africa. I guess I’d better
retire early, getting old will be fun – but I’ve no
desire to get awards for attempting things “at your
age”.
I enjoy cycling, hiking, canoeing, camping, or just
sitting in the park or airport watching the world go
by. I like to see different places and try out
different food & wine (Hmm…still not to excess). I
like to try and cook meals at the weekend. I’m no
expert, but have nobody coming back to complain (and
may their souls rest in peace).
I am not religious; I just believe in treating people
with respect and honesty. I expect the same respect
and I’m definitely into monogamy as a lifestyle
approach.
I like Blues, Blues-Rock and Jazz, provided it isn’t
too ‘weird’. I enjoy as much humor and mischief as I
can get…Oh yes, and give, but I draw the line at pain
or humiliation, so I’m afraid there’s no TV in my
life.
Having fun is a big part of my life. Serious folk are
okay, but I’m compelled to find humor about anything
serious. Being positive is a pre-requisite, but I
would consider myself as a ‘responsible risk-taker’
more than a care-free spirit – I do know when I need
to watch my step.
There’s a huge, multi-cultural world out there to be
visited, enjoyed and marveled at – anyone ready?
