About Me:
Hi,
My name is Correy and I am a junior at SVSU studying
optical physics and electrical engineering. I guess
you could say that I am the "ambitious" type to the
extent that a person can be at SVSU. In the future I
plan to try my hand at graduate school and get my
doctorate in something related to physics.
I've lived in Midland for two years now, having
moved from Southern Ontario. I keep myself busy
during the school year working as a math and physics
tutor, and as a lab assistant. For fun I am a member
of the Theta Beta Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity at
SVSU. We are by far the largest social fraternity on
campus and so I have met quite a few people and have
had more then my fair share of fun. Being true to my
Canadian roots I can't say that I don't enjoy having a
pint of blue at the local pub. I'd like to think that
I have a better handle on my drinking habits then most
of my brothers however (no doubt life lessons learned
the hard way). I love to travel and seldom pass down
the chance for a change of scenery whenever the
opportunity arises. I have spent time in Boston and
New York (long Island) working in research departments
on various grants. I also love to listen to all types
of music and have been playing the same fifteen chords
on my acoustic guitar for three years now.
From my bias perspective, I think that I am a
decent, hardworking, honest man with allot to offer to
a relationship. I really don't know anything about
dating in the new Millennium. Three months ago I
broke up with my high school sweetheart of five years
so the pick up lines that I can remember go something
like this "hey babe, I've got my parents Taurus Wagon
until twelve tonight, wanna go for a ride? ;)"
(Pathetic I know). Although things didn't work out,
I’m not quite ready to close up shop yet. At the very
least I'm walking out of that relationship knowing
that I can be loving, understanding, and faithful. I
guess I'm looking for so
