About Me:
"How do you coin the phrase though, that will set your soul apart?" asked The Sundays, and if happy-go-lucky professional lyricists are troubled by the thought of writing a personal ad, then I’ve clearly got my work cut out for me.
So, starting with the easy bits: I’m 5’9 with auburn hair, grey/green eyes and blue suede shoes. Actually, I made the bit about the shoes up. Well, not the whole idea of "blue suede shoes" – someone thought of that before me – but I don’t actually have any. Shoes. Obviously, I have shoes, but not the blue suede variety. Partly because I’m a vegetarian, so the idea of otherly-hued suedelettes making the ultimate footwear sacrifice rubs a little, and partly because I’m a keen cyclist and I suspect they’d be ruined pretty quickly.
Of course, there’s the whole fashion issue as well, but I reckon if you were interested in fashion, you’d have stopped reading by now anyway. Probably because your lips were tired. Now, where were we? Oh yes, animals. Despite not eating them, I spend a fair amount of time convincing horses to carry me across fields, over jumps etc. Some may find this cruel, but we tried it the other way, and it simply doesn’t work. And besides, they get their revenge by the wheelbarrow. Any gardeners reading this?
If I’m not feeding four-legged friends, you’ll find me hard at work designing electronic gadgets, trying to drag my cottage kicking and screaming out of its previous owners’ 1950’s design, running the 3km circuit of the village, and saving my friends from the nightmare of supermarket shopping by frequent restaurant visits.
