About Me:
Hi, I'm Clive, I live on my own in Wolverhampton and work at an
advertising agency in Birmingham.
I spent pretty much all of my 20s in two long relationships (not at the
same time), which is no bad thing of course, but that does mean it's
been at least five years since I've felt those amazing feelings you get
when you first meet someone you like and find out they like you too,
it's pretty intense and great at the same time. In theory I should be
content as I'm happy with my job, where I live and I have good friends,
and I am, don't get me wrong, but being single isn't really for me.
I love many different types of music from Nirvana to Kate Bush but my
favourite bands, at present, are R.E.M. (just split up - very sad), The
Smiths, Morrissey, Neil Young, The Strokes and Radiohead. I like all
sorts of films too and pride myself on my film collection and a real high
point of my weak is when I settle down for a film marathon, usually two
films, sometimes three, with a bottle of wine and low lighting. I'm keen
on exercise, as much for mental benefit as physical. I love travelling
and could stare at a map (or Google Earth) for hours at some obscure
part of the world I know nothing about but would love to explore.
I would describe myself as romantic, I'm a quiet person but confident
and outgoing amongst people close to me. People who know me tell
me I have an excellent sense of humour, albeit a little obscure and
sometimes hard to tell whether I'm being serious or not. I'm not very
good at chat up lines or approaching people I like in bars, hence why
I'm on this site. I am trustworthy, organised, independent and always
meet customer deadlines.

Who I Would Like To Meet:
I'm not on here for "a bit of fun" although I do want to have fun and enjoy
good times, I'm just not emotionally cut out for one night stands so I'm
not after that either. I'm just looking to meet someone with a good sense
of humour to spend time with, get to know and take it from there. In light
of current fuel costs I'm looking to meet someone relatively local, failing
that living on a major bus route or near a high speed railway line.
