About Me:
To describe myself off the bat I'd say I'm a
gregarious person but more on the moderate side. I
guess I’m more sarcastic when I get to know the
people around me. Also, I don't mind being involved
in a person's life even when they are facing
problems. A lot of Americans say they want someone
with "no emotional baggage". That's one of the
silliest things I hear in this country. I say give me
your emotional baggage so we can fix it together.
That's what relationships are all about and how they
grow. Up until a few years ago, writing and recording
an album took up most of my free time - my life
actually. I was always impressed with how the right
song could influence people more than anything else.
But nowadays I’m just working on being me and going
down my career path - wherever that may take me. My
current job as a corporate information specialist
isn't a typical one because it really reflects where
I've lived in my twenties and what I had to do to
survive there. A lot of times I can rest and enjoy
studying public domain information on the net, but
ultimately I'm paid to find marketing secrets,
budgets and private sales force numbers of Japanese
corporations. Although there is pressure involved in
what I do, I really like the freedom my job allows me
to have. I'm definitely not a nine to fiver. As for
the qualities of the person I’d like to date/marry,
it’s really hard to say. Sometimes opposites really
do attract... who knows? But usually I click with
people who can think abstractly and can see past the
veneer of things. For the most part, they have an
affinity for the arts and are not afraid to take on
something new. As for who I am deep down and how I
look at the world, basically I’m a Christian. I know
this might be a less desirable trait to some but what
it really comes down to is that all I need is one. I
know she’s out there.
