About Me:
My goal: To love and be loved. Pretty simple, eh? To me, all else in life is personal preference. My motives for marriage are deliberate, expecting common sense and wisdom to guide. I'm originally from California, near Monterey. B.S. grad in Art. For the past six years I have been working in a rural Missouri tourist industry as a photographer and prefer this over larger city locales. I see myself as a regular and normal kind of guy; yet very curious and inquisitive. I am well mannered with a good sense of humor. People say I am sensitive to the needs of others. Though not a rich man, I have a noble and generous heart. I am not easily upset over trivial things. I have a strong mind but I do not like to argue in order to have my own way. I understand other people must be themselves; yet in marriage, a man must be able to sythesize problems and be able to make decisions for the best of his family. This is always an expression of love. Life is not always easy but husband and wife need to be committed to each other, have similar goals and then work together for happiness. Duty is important to me, but not to the exclusion of fun and romance. I maintain a healthy lifestyle, so do not smoke or drink, and have never used drugs. I enjoy simple conversation, but also am able to discuss ideas and eternal themes.
Reading, art, photography, browsing antique shops, nature walks and hikes, museums, tennis, sporting events, taking a drive in the car or simply looking up into the night skies are a few of my favorite pastimes. I don't do clubs. Often I will prefer a quiet restful home environment, have a few friends over, or can cuddle up for a good movie. I live within my means, so prefer a simple, unmaterialistic lifestyle. Family, mutual love, courtesy and respect are all important to me. I prefer giving to others over buying for myself.
