About Me:
Well, it would seem I'm placing an add in the personals for the first time. Hmmm...Well I'm a 28 year old profesional male, white, dark hair, brown eyes, non-smoker, occasional social drinker, 5'6 and a little heavy but definetely solid (retired farm boy). I was born and raised in rural Manitoba, lived in Wpg one year while going to college then moved back to my rural home town(I fit no country hick stereotypes). I hope to continue living in the country but that may not be possible as my workplace is in Winnipeg (also should be taking some night classes).
My hobbies include the outdoors, hanging out with close friends and activities related to being a volunteer firefighter. I'm definetely not into the big city bar scene but I do like to get togehter once in a while for a beer with friends. Smoking is one of my pet peeves but I can stand it to a certain degree.
I'm definetely not a shy person but I have to really work on not being shy when I'm around a woman that I'm interested in; in fact it can be downright akward for me and seems to be my downfall. I have a really good sense of humor and love to laugh and make others laugh.
In recent years I have been so involved in getting my carreer off the ground that I haven't taken the time to find that special someone. Not to say that I'm obscessed though because at the end of the day I leave work at work.
My workplace consists mainly of people that are much older or much younger than I. My hometown is comprised of a few girls my own age but they just aren't what I'm looking for. Now that I'm creeping up on 30 I'm starting to think about settling down and starting a family. I love kids and want to have some one day.
Basically I'm a nice guy, definetely NOT into mind games, lying or just looking for an easy score. I like to be adventurous at times but also really like quiet times too. I'm looking for a lady whom I can totally devote myself to and vise versa. I am a little afraid to get hurt emotionally and I guess that's why it takes a while for me
