About Me:
Hi, I'm a recently single urban professional by day, rock bassist by night. Tall, 6 foot plus, mixed, bespectacled, bearded (goateed - when I'm too lazy to shave), a little on the heavy side, in my 30s. My influences are Marx, JP Sartre, Tolkien, Led Zeppelin, the Stones, the Beatles, every rock bassist who's ever lived and every gutsy person who's ever stood up to authority and conventional wisdom and said "No". The road less travelled is never an easy one, and am looking for a travelling companion as I pick up the pieces of my last expeditions and go down the only road I've ever known. I'm passionate, giving, loyal,love kids and want to settle down start a happy family and write songs for my loved ones. Are you my muse? Will you be my staunchest critic? Please, no Christians or religious fanatics or New Agers who need to rub their dogma in other people's faces, no "let's just be friends" (I have enough "friends" and think people use that word too damn loosely these days). And if your life goals include trekking in Nepal, diving off a cliff in Acapulco, or going deep sea diving, or any other sort of activity aimed at validating your pathetic, empty, lonely middle class existence and demand that your loved one help you achieve them, please don't apply. If you think you are "Miss Average", or have fallen down many times in life, like I have, let me tell you, you are not. There is more courage, grit, beauty and stamina in average, ordinary people than in any one else. If you, like I, have grown tired of Singapore's "Beautiful People" syndrome, with its fast cars, pretentious overpriced restaurants and obsession with surfaces, but believe in finding a lasting home, peace, love and happiness, lean on me.
