About Me:
Hi and thanks for reading my ad. I’m primarily looking for an activity partner. I’d like to find someone for either tennis, golf or possibly just good walks. I’m an East County single parent in my fifties who has put on weight over the past years, due to a lack of exercise on a regular basis (along with too many pizzas and a distaste for working out just to stay in shape). Also enjoyable would be an occasional movie, theater, or dining out. If this potential friendship turns into something more, that would be an unexpected but pleasant surprise.
I’ve played some golf over the years, but very sporadically. My tennis on the other hand is at a higher level, even in my somewhat depleted condition. Several years ago I played some league tennis around what would be considered a “B” level or for those in the tennis know a 4.5. As for walking, I learned when I was very young and while I don’t find it terribly stimulating, I know it can have it’s rewards. Oops, forgot something, I should include biking and swimming along with the before mentioned three. Anything else anyone wants to suggest is up for discussion. Having a good partner can make any activity worthwhile (no tongue in cheek here, so those with my type of sense of humor, CUT IT OUT).
I don’t have a picture on this site, but I do have one from a couple of years ago in my regular e mail. I’m also probably not a regular member to this site so you might have to take my initials and numbers and find me at the big ‘Y’. Anyhow, hoping to hear from someone who has similar needs and interests.
