About Me:
Currently hatching plans for world domination and looking for someone to share it with me after I take power. More seriously... I work in the financial markets, but haven't given up the socialist ideals I had as a student. Consequently, I lead a fairly bizarre double-life - screaming "buy, buy, sell, sell" at people at work and campaigning against sweatshop labour, racism and war in my spare time. Naturally, the pretence is slowly driving me up the wall, and I suppose the reason I'm on this site is because I'm looking for someone who I don't have to pretend with, who I can talk to about both sides of my life, and who won't be judgemental about it. I am very into books, theatre, arty films, restaurants and just plain conversation - I have been known to go clubbing, but it's not really my thing. I am willing to try new things, though - for the right person. Music: The Smiths, Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, The Clash, The Specials etc (saw Pauline Black sing live once) etc, etc... I am planning to leave my job in September to start studying for a Law degree, so don't contact me if you think I'm loaded (having said that I'm not skint either).
You are attractive, classy, educated, articulate, intelligent, fun-loving, open-minded etc, etc, etc... Gosh, I mean, what are you supposed to say about your ideal match? Intelligence, personality and assertiveness are as important to me as good looks - although naturally, I'm interested in those as well. Having a set of ideals is quite good as well - they don't have to be the same as mine, so long as you feel comforable arguing them. Basically, I'm looking for someone I can have intelligent conversation with, as well as someone who knows how to enjoy themselves. Don't come to me if you're a wallflower or aren't very open-minded. Do come if you want a relationship of equals and can hold your own in an argument.
