About Me:
Hi. I'm a 50 year-old Englishman who's lived here in Holland for 16 years. I have a son aged 13 (difficult age but then all ages are difficult n'est-ce pas?) My wife (and best friend) died a couple of months ago and I'm finding it difficult to cope on my own. Not the cleaning, cooking bit, because I always did that anyway - more the friendship, companionship, love... I'm a university graduate with a Ph.D. but don't let that put you off. I've also been a musician, teacher, artist, writer and now I have my own (very small) company. My friends tell me that I don't look 50 (but there again, they're my friends). Anyway, I have grey hair but plenty of it, I weigh 70 kg, I'm 1.85 tall, brown/green eyes...
Who am I looking for? A slim, attractive (has to be, I'm afraid, because I need a nice mental picture)independent, witty, intelligent woman who wouldn't mind communicating by email for a while and then, who knows? I'm a pretty cerebral sort of person but I also love the sun (Greece!), swimming, underwater fishing and relaxing on a warm terrace late into the night with good company, a glass or 2 of wine and my usual cigarettes (not politically correct these days - I know).
