how do i do this?...hmm...
my name's michel, i'm 35, separated 5 years ago with 2 kids that are living with their mom
as i don't seem to be meeting anyone though the "regular" channels, i thought i'd give this a try :)
i work full time as a software engineer, being a recent grad from school after having left the hospitality industry where i had worked since high school
i enjoy my work very much, am financially secure and goal oriented and ...altho not at the expense of family and friends
balance is an art...(not that i have any :))
i also enjoy the outdoors, going for coffee and chatting, walks / hikes
i am back into skiing this year after several years of leaving that behind and love it
i enjoy spending time with my kids, and having time for myself (when?) :) and know that having a partner to share life with would make it even nicer
i don't smoke, drink or do drugs, altho(because? ) it has been a part of my life in the past
i thought i'd say that right off the bat, since it seems to disturb some people.. personnally i think working a program of recovery has enriched my life in ways that i am very grateful for and is making me a better person
i have been abstinent for almost 4 years, go to meetings (NA) regularly and am serious about personal growth and recovery
i'm looking for a long term relationship, and look forward to sharing good times and not so good with someone in a loving, caring partnership
i'm not going to limit a relationship by making a list of what i am looking for... from this profile u should get an idea of where i'm coming from
i'd be selling myself and a relationship short by trying to define it too specifically i think
