About Me:
Though I am an idealist by nature, I have come to realize that I cannot change the world-but I can make a positive impact in the details of life... I am generally warm and willfully incisive...If someone finds his/her way into my heart, I am a great friend. I love to frolic in the countryside, spend an evening by the fire, travel to new places, and have my nose in a book... Unfortunately, "Wuthering Heights", "Jane Eyre" &
"Frankenstein" made deep imprints on my pre-teen psyche and I tend to be very ROMANTIC by nature and unable to
partake in superficial relationships... I really appreciate others who have quirky or fun personalities balanced with intellectual curiousity.... My ability to focus sometimes shuts the rest of the world out, so a man who can catch me off-guard with his wit will definitely find his way into my heart....
**Things you need to know- Since I am fairly tall (5'9), I prefer tall men (at least 5'10....) who are intelligent, honest, caring, confident, assertive, funny & non-clingy. Though I am no Kate Moss (think more Jane Russell or pre-raphaelite), I am attracted to and prefer slender to average built men. Since I am a professional with a master's degree, I prefer someone who is goal-oriented with at least a bachelor's degree (believe me, I have tried to avoid this prerequisite, but it always comes back to haunt me). I love to debate, discuss politics, hike, travel, cook, watch movies, swim, laugh, and am always open to new adventures... Though I consider myself a feminist, I prefer old-fashioned men who open doors and treat women with respect and dignity.
