About Me:
Intellectual professional who spends more time looking at a monitor than at people, so I thought I would take it a step further and let it help find a friend (or more). hope springs eternal.
Besides sitting in front of a computer, I like to scuba, ice skate, read and cook. I bought a pair of roller blades, but I still don't have the hang of it. Other than that, I manage to make it to the gym 3x / week...hope spring eternal there too. :-)
I guess the best way to describe me is as a work in progress. I am constantly on a voyage of self-discovery and find that I am finally at the point where I can really share that voyage with someone else.
My match would be tall (6ft or taller) with a warm smile and kind eyes. He shouldn't be too extreme looking: no mohawks, tattoos, etc. He shouldn't be too heavy, but also not too thin. I am also not terribly fond of facial hair, although a well-groomed mustache isn't bad. He should be intelligent, well-spoken, open to new ideas and experiences and giving. Not looking for a doormat, but also not looking to be treated like one. He should be reasonably comfortable in his own skin.
He should be fiscally and personally responsible. I have been around men recently who are so busy blaming others for their lot in life that they never move forward. I'd like to meet someone who is, like me, taking responsibility for the progress that he makes in his life and instead of dwelling on the wrongs of others, looks at what he can do to improve his life and move forward.
