About Me:
I just returned to the States after living in Europe
the last several years. Unfortunately I've not
participated in an automated dating system before so
am unable to readily offer a bio (that statement may
have you reaching for the sea salt, but it’s true :-).
However, if you like the tone and way this short
response feels, please reply and feel free to ask any
questions you wish. In brief, my personality is fun. I
am playful, humourous, caring, tender, and confident,
though I'm a bit shy at an inner level. I'm social and
enjoy the tranquillity of simple, romantic activities.
I am respectful and serious, whilst also quite easily
supercilious and silly. I love laughing, especially to
humour that incorporates sarcasm. I feel life is short
and I enjoy living it fully. While that may be a
cliche it is also true. I'm fairly secure with myself
and genuinely accepting of others. I'm from the mid-
west (Ohio), raised in a small town which accounts for
my values, but I enjoy the energy and culture afforded
by living in cities and traveling. And if it helps,
others say I'm handsome. My physique is masculine and
tone, with a full head of dark, thick hair; quick,
attentive brown eyes; full lips; ears that listen and
a complexion that in the drizzle of English winter
takes on the pallor of the Scots from which I hail. I
enjoy sports, exercising by cycling and rowing a great
deal weekly. I like most indoor and outdoor
activities: including walking, cooking, art, reading,
writing, humour, making others happy as well as being
happy, conversation, film, romance, theatre, and, it
must be said, I enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of
cafés. I have degrees and am a professional, and
writing is a passion and a hobby. Please accept my
