Griffin seeking his Sabine...Last of the good guys. Gemini, ENFP, multifaceted, funny, competent, innately curious......Been through the mill. Phd level intellect with a trade school reality. Can fix any machine yet manmade then put on the dog (tux if required) and quote good poetry, defend my position (lovingly) about most anything and dance the remainder of the night away. A reincarnated WWII Naval Officer, loves thoughtful debate with sharp and wise companions. Has sired and parented two remarkable young women into their mid twenties without breaking their spirits or clinging to the results. I think they finally "get" it. Would love to do it again were the fates alighned either biologically or adoptively. Am a fiscial conservative, (but generopus to a fault-----NOT CHEAP) but lean toward a liberal or at least libertarian stance on issues of personal choices. "If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything" A spiritual being since childhood, raised in the verbal household of a Methodist Minister and a Misouri farm girl. Learned to read in utereo, love the written word with an intrinsic, unquestioned passion. Rejected most of the formal religious structure when my dad expired unexpectedly at 63, returned two decades later thanks to a mentoring Episcopal priest and have become fairly certain there is order in creation and we are compelled only to love and be loved. All the rest is human babble, seeking to justify rejection of any that don't accept our particular corner on the gates to heaven.....AKA Bin LAden and J. Falwell...yikes.......
