The boring facts are I’m male, just 44, 6’ tall, short greying hair, average build, blue green eyes. I’m recently separated with 4 kids, 2 who live away from home and are 14 & 16. I have been told I’m handsome, but I’m just me and get a bit embarrassed, but I’m also flattered.
I am a Policeman of 13 years, previously I was in the Army for 14 years. I am an officer in the RAF Reserve and work in the Air Cadets. I keep fit (ish) and try to keep the weight issue in check.
I am searching for someone who will identify with me to share life’s experiences, whilst both of us give and receive of each other. I do enjoy love making very much, but this has to be right, special and intimate and not for personal gratification.
As a Christian of 8 years, but not a bible basher a probably a very poor example of one, but my faith is strong enough to know that despite my failings, the Lord still loves me and knowing this gives me hope for the future.
I like good food, Italian, Chinese, Indian, English, but also the occasional junk meal, I enjoy very dry white wine, the occasional lager (but just looking at it I feel the pounds lock on to me) I like to cook, I sew, iron, clean etc.
I love classical music, but haven’t a clue who the piece is by. I can’t sing, but I like most styles of music. Walking is such a great release, especially if the scenery is awe inspiring. I’d love to have a dog, but this has to date been impossible. I enjoy most humour.
I have no preconceived ideas or motives, as this is all very new to me being in the “dating game” again, not that I see it as a game. I have made some terrible mistakes in my life, and some I regret very much and still feel guilty about. But my life has moved on and I know I still have so much to give to that special soul mate, who I still am searching for.
