About Me:
Divorced man in the prime of life with no children is spending his days with books and a cat named Sam.
I am 5'6" and 132#, dark eyes and dark hair. I am retired from the enviromental biology/natural history field. A small at-home publishing business helps to keep me sane. I love nature and the out of doors, but if you are looking for the big brawny super-macho type, look elsewhere. I have a lot of love and tenderness in my heart for mother-nature, as well as human beings.
I am inquisitive, intelectual and philosophical, but I can be just plain goofy at times. My sense of humor borders on the bizarre, so be ready for the unexpected.
I never learned to dance, but I can quote poetry,(if that counts). Only a social drinker, wine for dinner or maybe a beer on a hot day. I do smoke a pipe, but Sam doesn't complain about it too much.
I enjoy trying new food, movies at home, nature hikes,
board games, hazlenut coffee, E-Bay, giving back rubs,
discussing current events, and of course, picnics in the autumn woods when the moon is full and the geese are winging their way southward.
I am lonely for companionship, and I am missing the warmth and sunshine that the right woman can bring into my life.
