About Me:
I'm fairly average. I've been divorced for 3 years and
have three kids, a girl, 9 and a boy, 6 (they live
with my ex), and a baby girl who lives with me. I love
to read, watch movies, cook good old fashioned
Southern food and pizza from scratch, listen to music
(country and classic rock), I enjoy going to flea
markets, home shows and the like, long aimless drives.
I'm not athletic but enjoy swimming, boating and
volleyball, and I'll watch the Superbowl (for the
commercials of course!). I have a fairly sarcastic
(and sometimes perverted) sense of humor and can find
something funny in almost any situation. I'm not a
great conversationalist, more of a listener. I'm not
really looking to get married again at this point--
getting old and set in my ways, I guess! I'm something
of a hermit, I'm perfectly happy hanging out at home
by myself--gotta have my "me time"! But it would
certainly be nice to have a special someone to do
things with, whether it be vegging out in front of the
VCR or going out on the town.
I'm looking for someone with a sense of humor, who
takes responsibility for himself, who's not afraid to
try new things, who likes to have a good time but
isn't obsessed with it. I'd really like to date for
awhile before jumping into a committed relationship.
Let's not just go out once or twice then decide to
move in together or get married LOL. About the only
things I would require of you are, first and foremost,
that you love kids, and don't resent the time I spend
with my two older children, who live near Nashville
but are about to move to Indiana. Second, no severe
addictions--I had a bad relationship with someone who
was an alcoholic and a porn addict so now I'm leery.
Third, please be "fully" single. Not separated, not
still in love with someone, even partially, etc. Last,
while I'm totally agreeable to "going Dutch" and even
treating, please don't expect me to pay your bills.
