About Me:
My name is Daniel. I am a American(USA) male and an accredited TESOL teacher with B.A., B.S. degrees.
Being born in the United States has enabled me to be exposed to many different and diverse cultures from around the world. This coupled with my heartfelt passion for traveling has fueled my interest in experiencing other cultures.
I have always been drawn to the people and the history of Latin America and now I am studying the history of China. I find China to be fascinating, the culture and history are so rich. I believe I have made the right choice in coming here.
Education:
1.) I am a graduate of Loyola Jesuit Catholic preparatory school in the city of Chicago.(Illinois, USA)
2.) I have a B.S. in Cultural Anthropology from Swarthmore College.
3.) I have a B.A. in Latin American history and the Spanish Empire from Columbia University.
Experience:
I have taught and travelled extensively through out South America, Central America and Mexico.
My mother being born in South America has afforded me fluency in Spanish and Portuguese. Which in turn has helped me during my time at Swarthmore College and the Columbia University. Where I was able to take advantage of multiple school sponsored opportunities (courses and field studies) to travel and teach in the Spanish speaking world.
After my time in school, I remained the stalwart traveler. Taking volunteer positions to help build homes and schools in third world areas through Catholic aid organizations and other charitable organizations.
