About Me:
I am a USA citizen, 6 feet tall, 185 pounds, good-looking, born in New York City, and semi-retired in Costa Rica. Although I am older, most people refuse to believe it and try to convince me that I am no more than 50 to 55. Sean Connery is bald beneath his wig but I have all my hair. Unfortunately, I do not have his bank account, but I am financially secure.
I an an active person who "thinks young." I can be found at the Gym four mornings every week and although I am certainly capable of "pigging out" on occasion, I normally live on a rather spartan diet, much to the chagrin of my Yorkie Spike, who prefers meaty, greasy leftovers. My diet no doubt contributes to my youthful state of being and good health ... and Spike's too, whether he likes it or not
I have many interests: sports (a Knick/Yankee fan, of course!), travel, writing, reading, and all of The Arts. I have written a travel guide and I am a self-taught webmaster. I have never smoked but you may if you wish to. I am a moderate social drinker.
I have been married twice and have a son, daughter, and "hijastra" (step-daughter), who live, respectively, in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. They are great people, which is their accomplishment, not mine.
My second wife told my divorce attorney: "John is a good man." What better recommendation could I possibly have? Currently, I am unattached.
My ideal woman is intelligent, attractive, tall and slender (I am a "leg man"), sexy, and has "class." But most importantly, she is a good person and is warm, affectionate, unselfish, and loving. She appreciates the beauty of nature and loves animals. Her mind and attitudes are not controlled by organized religion, she cares about her health and appearance, takes pride in being a woman, and has a life of her own.
