About Me:
Hi. I recently moved from New York to Dallas to complete my surgical residency. The work is very interesting. While it is very demanding, I dont see myself solely as a surgeon given my ecclectic background. Before medicine, I studied liberal arts and law and worked for a time in the Senate on health care policy. But more important than the degrees have been my experienceds living in different countries and being multilingual. Even though I am Jewish, I was born in Iran and lived there until I was 10 when my family moved to LA. Since then I have lived in Europe on several occasions and I have a real affinity for the romance and culture of Europe... sun baked Italian palazzos, Bordeaux vineyards, Italian clothes, classical music, the cuisine... delicious:) Despite the fancy-schmancy stuff, I can still laugh at myself and just about anything else.
