About Me:
Among other things I'm a seeker of philosophical truth. By opening myself to the entire domain of thought I'm able to find meaning in life, where otherwise there often appears to be none. Few recognize me as a ‘thinking’ person because I keep most of my thoughts private & I'm not the type to play the self-proclaimed ‘thinker’. I'd much rather be thought of as a ‘real’ & ‘down-to-earth’ person, & have the richness of genuine relationships. I'm a systems analyst but my interests vary widely. I'm interested in science but my identity is more that of an artist. I'm writing my first book on national social issues. I'm a romantic, understand the dynamics of relationships, & have written publishable poetry. I’m 5'11",195#,decent build,brn/blue,passing for 31-33. I respect(and appreciate) knowledge and intelligence, but place a higher value on sensitivity, compassion, and strength of character. I concede that physical appearance does matter to me, but only to the minimum extent that is necessary to arouse my aesthetic/animal senses. Beyond that, the other qualities take priority. I understand that a decent relationship requires that both parties appreciate the importance of 'effective communication', 'consideration' and 'mutual respect'. Physical? ..in my younger life I played sports... football, baseball, basketball, tennis, golf. I like snow skiing, whitewater canoeing, been skydiving, love horseback riding, motorcycles, sailing, LOVE nature, MOUNTAINS, DEEP FORESTS, OCEAN, DEEP LAKES, ANIMALS, FIREPLACES/CAMPFIRES! I'm very sensual/sensitive, and for some reason I do feel a sense of that destiny/soul-mate thing, cuddling/kissing(the mind-numbing variety) are high on my list, right next to making a woman feel like a woman, & like she's never known love before. (Sorry if I'm rambling, it's late. Come, give me a reason to want to leave work on time.
