About Me:
I am a senior executive with children who is single
again. I am very successful in my business life, but
need the emotional and physical intimacy of a loving
relationship. Hopefully, that would be a long-term
arrangement, but life is meant to be enjoyed each day,
so I accept that there are no guarantees.
I am well educated and well travelled (although not so
much in recent times). I can be equally as comfortable
in black tie for a night on the town, or in cut-off
jeans strolling hand-in-hand on a beach at sunset.
While I am comfortable in the executive boardroom, I am
basically a person who enjoys the truly simple
pleasures of life...family, friends and a loving home
life.
I am 5'9" tall, with an athletic build, which I try to
maintain playing hockey and golf. I love the outdoors,
camping/cottaging, hiking, biking and water activities.
I am emotionally and spiritually available, and have a
wide variety of interests. I can be reflective and
introspective, but also spontaneous and outgoing
...intellectual and sophisticated, yet earthy and
simple...confident and assertive, but unpretentious and
unassuming.
I've had my knocks (who hasn't?), but remain an
optimist...I truly believe the best days are still
ahead. My outlook on life is based on the bottle being
half full rather than half empty, and I hold firm
to the view that a hearty laugh and a good sense of
humour are fundamental ingredients for a healthy
approach to life.
I am a generous, compassionate and caring person, a
good listener and willing to meet most people more than
half way. Sometimes that means I have been burned, but
that says more about the other person than it does
about me.
