About Me:
I guess the best way to describe me would be that I'm a person of contrasts. Basically easygoing I can be very intense and focused. I don't take things lightly yet like to find the humor around me...I like to laugh and make others laugh. I like stability yet spontaneity is important to me. I tend to be dependable, perhaps a little predictable, but just when you think you've got me figured out I'll surprise you. I like to think for myself and I'm not afraid to color outside the lines when it suits me. I've been told I'm easy on the eyes and I'm in good shape as I work out regularly and practice kung fu. I enjoy going to plays at Intiman and watching good movies (at home or the theater). A nice day hike, spending the day at the beach or cruising around on my motorcycle are also things I enjoy. I have three boys I love dearly (two live with me) who are a continual source of insight and personal challenge. Many of the simple things in life are what I value most and yet I also like discussing the meaning of life with my friends. I like to touch and be touched...I tend to be a fairly physical/sensual person. I believe there are times when a simple kiss, stroking the hair, a passionate embrace, or a knowing smile can communicate better than words. My basic philosophy is more eastern/Zen than conventional western. I believe in seeking balance and harmony in life, and that there is always the yang for every yin. My view of the world tends to be as a realist, but hope usually wins out experience.
