The thing that lets us look
into our mates eyes on any given day and say
"WOW" your incredible! And mean it in our hart!
I'm 43, very single and have no children.
I have a passion for travel as well as the
wilderness and like engadging in both often.
Can we really talk and hear and listen to each
other? Can we take the time to "just be" with
each other?
I still know how to laugh and I have a spark of
excitment that gets set off at the thought of
another adventure, a new place, an old favorite -
what ever? I don't think I'll ever outgrow my
wanderlust . . . but I do so wish I had someone to
share it with. Even if it means just going down to
the cafe for a cup of coffee, a game of chess or what ever.
I don't care about sports or television. I would far prefer
spending quality time with my lover.
If you consider backpacking in the the Sierra's
or prospecting for gold in the mojave desert a sport
than we might well get along.
I'm a strong believer in monogamy. I'm not
interested in jumping in bed first only to
find out "Who With" later. I'm not interested in
casual encounters and am not looking for a maid,
mother or deep purse. I am not one to turn my
back on the oppertunity to make a friend, yet at
the same time I'm not looking for a pen pal either..
Commitment is serous to me, as are the words we use.
I do not play games with the heads nor harts of
others as these are thing I would not want done
to me. I am not one to run at the first sign of
trouble. People are not perfect and I'm certainly no exception.
Can you share ideas? enjoy watching the sunset while
over looking the ocean?
Is there a Zen quality to
getting lost and winding up in a better place than the one you intended to find?
