Hello guys-
I live in Shawnee,& havefor the last 6 years. But was born & raised in Stroud.
I am a widow of 6 years nw, andsomeimes it seems like a big ole world out there. I was happily married to a wonderful man, but he died of cancer in 1996.
I hve done a pretty good job of raising my kids by myself since then. My two sons-Dusty & Derek (23 & 18) are both in college, an my two daughters (Melody & Monica-16 & 14) are in high school junior high. I am really proud of all of my children they're honestly really good kids!
I have stayed so busy raising them since their Dad died, that I haven't really taken much time or my self. I am not complaining- they ar a God-send for me. It is just that I am REALLLLLLLY 'skittish' about getting back out there in the dating world. It seems oddly foreign now- I havn't dated in almost 20 years, but for 1 or 2 times since he died- ad both times- I was hurt badly by two jerks who only had one thing in mind.
BUT- I am absolutely NOT against men. I know that most of you are basically really great guys!
I amooing for someone who is a born again christian, with a really good sense of humor. I love to laugh! I am also looking for someone who is a hopeless romantic-you know, the door-opening, chair pullng, roses & candy type of man. I need that special someone who will weather lifes storms by my side-and I would ALWAYS be there for you as well.
