About Me:
My name is Selene and I was born in beautiful British Columbia. I grew up in Vancouver and on the Sunshine Coast and as such, I have to say that I'm in love with the ocean. To me, there's nothing more wonderful than a long walk under the moonlight by the sea. I also have an appreciation for the mountains and quite enjoy hiking. I have a great love and deep respect for the environment and animal kingdom. There isn't a creature on this planet I don't like! The arts are very important to me as I'm a young artist at heart. I particularly love poetry and am working on my second book of poems. I also love to draw and paint. Intellectualism is highly important to me and I really enjoy being with people who are interested in the continual pursuit of knowledge. Currently, I'm training to be an ESL teacher and I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree-major in English. I have a great appreciation for health and fitness and am always looking for ways to improve both. I power walk frequently, enjoy Pilates (even though it's trendy), and am highly flexible so I dabble in Yoga. I love to dance and go out for a good time but I'm not a frequenter of the club scene. I'd much prefer a good movie or long talk. I'm interested in developing a strong,loving, and nurturing friendship, as my lover has to be my friend. I'm 5'3, 110 lbs, quite slender, have blue eyes, long strawberry blonde hair and a very fair complexion.
