About Me:
My name is Dane J. Roth, I am a widower with a daughter who is 20 and living with me. In any case, I started at 6ft tall, but now in Power chair. Legs gave out in 89 but I expected that. I was told in 74 I'd never walk again, well they were wrong.
I am a man who thinks for himself. My only vice is I smoke and I drink beer to stop bladder infections. I have what is none as Neurogenic Type. I still feel and function. Have to wear bladder bag since I am unable to control when it comes. I also smoke, until the water is warm enough to scuba dive. I have been a diver since trained by the (Seals for the Marine Corps) in the early 70s. Have been diving ever since.
Am looking for a woman who won't try and change me. I have brown eyes, brown hair. In a chair I am about 3'9". I can still ambulate short distances, but that's it.
This is short but there is very little space left. I have not dated since the death of my wife in 97. I found her in the shower dead. We were preparing to go to dinner. We moved down here at her suggestion because it would be cheaper for me to dive. I still have my own gear. I quit smoking during dive season. This time, it will be the last time I have to quit. In any case, I own my house and that is that.
It says on top Don't be shy. Meeting new people is hard to do but bearable. I am active in the Marine Corps League,Military Order of the Devil Dogs, VFW and not much more.
I am in the midst of writing a book. Since I am not allowed to write about what happened overseas, I have to write about what it has been like since I have been home. It was pretty good until my wife died and untimely death. Now it is a change over. Ideopathic Myocarditis is what took her at the age of 43. No way of detecting it until an autopsy has been performed.
Sometimes this country drives me up a wall, but I am a proud American...Just haven't dated anyone as of yet. My daughter tells my I should be chasing skirts. I have not done that since I was in High School. Tried some dating agencies, they are a waste of
