About Me:
I came to Taiwan seeking to learn more Chinese, to try something new (teaching), and to explore... everything. I've had my hands in many things: palmistry, computer science, Latin, web design, ballroom dancing (I know it's got a reputation for a pastime of old people here), drawing, ... but whenever I meet a new person, I often feel humbled by the amount of experiences I *haven't* had.
I enjoy conversations; they're the most important part of a friendship/relationship. I'm fairly reserved, but it's usually because I'm more into one-on-one conversations than group dynamics. I like big ideas and tiny details that make things shine. I like talking about things that don't exist, and exploring new ideas, which I have found doesn't sit well with people concerned with more practical things. Life is as much what is as what isn't; I hope to find others who share that opinion.
