About Me:
I'm a 42 year old divorced woman, 5'5", red hair,
blue eyes, delightfully curvy, and with a lovely
smile and a great sense of fun. I have two young
retrievers (one Flat-Coat and one Toller)and two
young cats (6 months as of the date of this ad) who
bring delight to my life and help me maintain my
playfulness. I work full-time and am also in school;
when I'm not working or studying, I enjoy kayaking,
walks, camping, fishing, movies, dancing, quilting,
listening to music, reading (especially science
fiction and fantasy), concerts, and exploring all
that life has to offer. A few things that I don't do
now that I would like to learn include skiing (both
downhill and cross-country), hunting, and learning to
fly an airplane, and maybe an ultralight or
sailplane, too. I greatly enjoy travel, and don't get
to do enough of it; I'm a high-touch person and enjoy
quiet snuggling as well as getting out and doing
things. I can go from jeans to dressy easily and look
good in both. I'm much more at home in the country
than in the city, though the city is a nice place to
visit fairly often.
I would like to find a life partner to share all this
with me. I'd like us to explore our mutual dreams,
provide support to one another, maximize joys,
mitigate sorrows, and love deeply. Some of the
qualities I value are deep kindness, chivalry,
romance, thoughtfulness, strength of character,
honesty, compassion, a love of animals, and respect
for your fellow human beings and the world around us.
You should have an open mind, a quick wit, a terrific
sense of humor, and you should like big, friendly
hunting dogs; even better would be if you are
yourself a hunter, and best of all would be someone
who trains and participates in hunt tests with his dog
(s). You should also appreciate a pun and a deft turn
of phrase. Sarcasm is not welcome, but lively
intellectual discussions are a delight.
