About Me:
I am 49 yr old woman who's been single for 4 years. (my husband passed away in 1998). I've had a couple of relationships but nothing that worked out. I consider myself to be in good shape and friends say I'm attractive (like they're going to tell me I'm ugly?) I'm a Cancer so I'm pretty much a homebody but I like to go out on a Friday night to catch up with friends over a couple drinks (unless of course there's something better to come home to). I'm a nurturer, a romantic, a good cook and a good friend. I'm independent, self-supportive, communicative, energetic, have a good sense of humor and love animals.
I adore musical theater,(Les Miz rules) although I don't get to go as often as I would like. I love pretty much all music (except rap and heavy metal) but especially jazz. My ideal date would be to have someone over for a candlelight dinner, a good bottle of wine, soft music and conversation (at least in the beginning).
I have never been blessed with children, but my dogs are my "furkids" (they don't know they are dogs so shhh, please don't tell them).
Looking for a man who is affectionate, can carry on an intelligent conversation, likes watching something on TV besides sports (although I love a good game of football)and doesn't mind working in the yard on the weekends. One who is sensitive and doesn't mind sharing his emotions. A guy who is funny (I love to laugh), loves dogs, likes to be waited on and doesn't mind that I smoke. That's not so tall of an order, is it? Okay, the smoking part might be a little hard to find, but hey, I believe in honesty and putting things out on the table - no secrets here.
