What disturbs you most about today’s society? The greedy fantasy that there is such a thing as a free lunch, and the unwillingness to acknowledge that our children and grandchildren will have to pay for our profligacy.
What pleases you most? JFK’s call to “ask not what your country can do for you…” is an ideal which is slowly starting to bring about a shift in our perceptions from a preoccupation with victimhood to the responsibilities of citizenship.
Interest in Religion: Many of the most loving people I know are deeply religious, but I’ve yet to encounter a religion, with the exceptions of the Quakers and Buddhists, which when it gains primacy, does not become a Theocractic. Do you smoke? Aaargh!
