About Me:
Hi I'm Nan Mother of 4-42 down to 34, 2 boys, 2 girls. 5 grand kids, 3 girls, 2 boys from 13 down to 2. Attend Christian church every Sunday, read 2 chapters from Bible every night. Try to live 24/7 as a Christian. I play volleyball 4 nights a week. Love to dance, swim, walk, and play with grandkids. I am very family oriented. I was born on Dad's dads farm and lived there til I moved to Mom's Dad's farm when I was 4. Lived there til I was 14, then moved back to Dad's family farm again. When I was 15, Dad built a new house and we moved off the farm. Never went back! I have older sister whom I am very close to. I originally grew up around Saginaw/Midland area. Got married and moved to Lansing area 43 years ago. My husband died 5 years ago. At our 30th wedding anniversary party my son gave a speech and likened us to the tv sitcom "Harte to Harte". Scott said "Mom and Dad are like watching that show. That's the way they are with one another. Even after all these years, they're still that much in love." That's a pretty good testimonial to our marriage. At my Ed's funeral, several women he worked with came up to me and told me they had tried everything to get Ed to notice them and he never did. He came from a home where his mother had been married 6 times. He not only loved me, he loved my family. My dad came from a family of 14 and Mom from a family of 5. I had 85 1st cousins and lots of second cousins and great aunts and uncles. I had 28 aunts and uncles not counting the greats. I also had a grandma M and a granpa T whom he adored. So already you know that my world revolves around volleyball, work(I'm a retired school bus driver but still work a couple days a week.)and my family. I like people, kids, my LORD. But I'm fun. Really all of my friends tell me so. Good clean fun. I would love to get married again. I loved being married. At least I loved being married to my Ed. I would assume most marriages are centered around US, Kids, Church and Volleyball. Oh yeah, I love look
