About Me:
What is it that we are all looking for? Happiness?, fulfillment?, contentment?, acceptance?,... and the list goes on. What is it that we are willing to do to achieve these goals? That’s the real question.
If I was to create a physically ideal guy for myself he would have some of these characteristics: Tall 5’9” at least, be height/weight proportionate so that would be 190lbs minimum, still have hair on his head and none or very little on his face.
He would be an active person, but anyone who ski’s, and rollerblades, and kayak’s, and runs, and lifts weights, and plays volleyball, etc., etc., has got to be too damn tired all of the time to be any real fun. For god sakes, pick a couple or three and try to enjoy life instead of running around chasing it. I’m always astounded and rarely impressed with these ads listing guys physical activities that read like a resume. Hell, if you can stay physically fit without ever exercising, more power to you. Not too realistic, but you get the point. A man that I would want to get to know would posses qualities like kindness; loyalty to family, friends and themselves; honesty; understanding; posses the ability to compromise; be spontaneous; and be quick to laugh or smile with just a touch of dry humor, and be totally understanding about my overuse of the run-on-sentence and bad punctuation. Someone grown up enough to have a decent job and some financial stability, but not too grown up.
When we describe qualities that we are looking for in a person, I think for the most part we are describing ourselves. Don’t you?
