Hello My Friend,
I am a recently separated, semi-retired Aerospace Engineer; still a consultant to NASA, but I am dedicating my primary efforts to being a novelist these days. I have three children, two boys and a girl - 21, 24 and 28 respectively; all living on their own, and three grandchildren between them. I love music and art, and have degrees in engineering as well as a grad degree in music. I play and teach the piano, and I love driving my antique Corvette on warm, sunny days -- especially with someone who would enjoy it as much as I do! I love the water, quiet conversation, intimate moments in front of the fire, walks on the beach, fine dining - or just watching a video or DVD with that special someone.
I am 5 ft.-11 in. tall, 170 lbs. - with light brown hair and brown eyes; not unattractive and in pretty good physical form. I own a home on the Gunpowder River, where I live with my Siberian Husky, Bandit, who is my number 1 companion (for the time being!)
My ideal mate would be someone who enjoys being treated like a Lady, pampered and put on a pedestal, appreciated and adored -- by a man who needs to show affection and love as much as he needs to breathe. I have spent far too many years on a one-way street - trying to make someone happy who just did not love me. I need to be needed as much as I need to be loved. Forgive me for being candid, but I believe that this is the only way to be - honest right up front.
I am quiet and cerebral, but have a good sense of humor. I am family oriented, and I love children -- have been a good father and grandfather, and would enjoy getting to know and care for the family of any woman who would honor me with her love and understanding. For now, I would be very happy just getting to know you, if you think you would like to get to know me -- and this new medium seems an ideal way to do so.
