About Me:
I am a 54 yr old college professor, divorced, and I'm out looking again
after 10 years. I teach history at the University of Colorado and I've
been here for about 10 years. I graduated from Brown and Princeton
Universities and my mother has never forgiven me for it. About my
marriage: we got married over 10 years ago (she asked me if I wanted
to marry) and it lasted less than a year. I don't think I did anything
really wrong, though there were a few mistakes along the way. I think
that she was still in love with her first husband (she was divorced when
we met) and she never really left him. When she asked me, or rather,
TOLD me to move out, I agreed to and left.
Who I Would Like To Meet:
I am obviously looking for someone a lot more trustworthy for a second
time around. I'm not saying that I want to marry you, I'm just saying it's on
the table and one consideration moving forward (I'm not getting any
younger, after all). On the other hand, I"m pretty shy about making the
same mistakes again. Otherwise I'm looking for everything a man my age
seeks in a partner: love, trust, conversation, travel, etc., and just the usual
understanding when I make mistakes (and I will make them).
