About Me:
I have lived the ancient chinese curse "May You Live
In Interesting Times" I have roamed the worlds oceans
and walked on every continent of this small world. I
love the sea and the choice to come home was
difficult. I always thought I would find that magic
spark that would tell me I have finally found "The
One" in some far and distant place. Alas, that was not
to be! Spending seven or more months away from home
year after year was proving impossible to accomdate
any fulfilling personal life. I always have loved
children and always assumed I would have many, yet as
time passed it was proving to be less and less likely.
The demands of life at sea were begining to convince
me that I would never balance a family life with the
seperations required of my profession. So, now I fix
computers and struggle to make a comfortable life,
like nearly everyone I know, and hope to one day meet
that one special person that will take my hand and
accompany me into a future that will center on our
life together and hopefully the creation of children
to gladden our hearts with joy and the miracle of life.
My interests have always been in the areas of physical
activity,,,, I like to fly ,,, I like to sail ,,,, I
love to hike in the forests with my dogs ,,,, I love
standing on the top of a mountain drinking in the view
all around ,,,,,, I like to gaze at the horizon and
wonder what I would find if I went just over that
rise ,,,,,, I like to ride my bicycle and
motorcycles ,,,,,, I like to scuba dive ,,,,, I like
to make things from wood ,,,,, I love to sit by a
roaring fire on a cold evening and read a good
book ,,,,,,, I like to have comfortable company and
intelligent conversation ,,,,, I like all these
things ,,, I just hate doing them alone ,,,,
